Dato’ Sri Shahril Mokhtar was appointed as the Group Managing Director of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) on 1 October 2010.
He was previously the Chief Operating Officer of the Commission of Land Public Transport (SPAD). Prior to that, Dato’ Sri Shahril was seconded as the Adviser to the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department to assist the Government to set up the Commission, particularly in drafting the SPAD Act 2010 and the Land Public Transport Act 2010 which were passed by the Parliament in the same year. Dato’ Sri Shahril was also involved in laboratory for urban public transport improvement under the Government Transformation Plan (GTP).
Dato’ Sri Shahril was previously attached to Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn Bhd (RapidKL) as a General Manager for Corporate Planning and Strategy. Prior to that, he was with Penerbangan Malaysia Berhad, British American Tobacco (M) Berhad, PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia and Maybank Berhad.
He has a Master of Management Degree (with distinction) from the University of Malaya and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (minor in Political Science) from the University of Missouri, St Louis, Missouri, USA.
Currently, Dato’ Sri Shahril is the Chairman of Prasarana’s subsidiaries, namely Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, and Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd. He also sits on the Board of Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) while at the same time he is also a member of the MRT Executive Committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary to the Government.
Dato’ Sri Shahril has also attended the Executive Education Programme at highly-prestigious Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Khairani Mohamed is the Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd. He is also the Group Director of Rail for Prasarana, a post he has held since 1 January 2011.
After leaving the Royal Military College in 1982, Khairani attended the Mississippi State University and graduated with a Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1986. He started his career as a fighter pilot with the Royal Malaysian Air Force and retired as a Captain in 1996.
He joined the then Projek Usahasama Transit Ringan Automatik Berhad (PUTRA) after leaving the Air Force and took the position as Control Centre Manager. He was instrumental in making sure the Control Centre’s manpower and functions were at their best in time for the PUTRA LRT commencement and 1998 Commonwealth Games. He was then promoted to Operations Senior Manager in 2000.
With the establishment of both Prasarana and RapidKL, he became part of Asset Management Division for Parasrana in 2004. Khairani was entrusted to manage rail assets for both Kelana Jaya Line and Ampang Line. In 2007, pursuant to the takeover of KL Monorail System Sdn Bhd by Prasarana, Khairani was chosen to take the lead of KL StarRail Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Prasarana, as Chief Operating Officer and Director.
Zohari Sulaiman is the Chief Executive Officer for Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd. He is also the Group Director for Bus, a post he held since 1 November 2011. Prior to this appointment he was the Group Director for Infrastructure Services.
Zohari started his career in rail business with KTM Berhad in 1982. His experience with KTMB was in engineering, maintenance and refurbishment of locomotives, passenger coaches, freight wagons and workshop machinery. He was also responsible on technical safety of intercity train operations.
He joined STAR LRT in 1995 and was involved in the implementation of operations and engineering training for the first LRT system in Malaysia. He joined PUTRA LRT in 1996 as the pioneer group and contributed to the design and construction of depot to meet the operational requirement, train-the-trainer programme, testing, commissioning and opening of the LRT 2. Later, he was appointed as the General Manager of Engineering, responsible for the maintenance of the fully automative driverless and manual driven trains, integrated supporting systems, fleet expansion project, electrical & mechanical system upgrading works and engineering development of both LRT lines. Under the implementation of management by line, he was appointed as the General Manager of Engineering and Operations for Kelana Jaya Line.
Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of John Moores, Liverpool, United Kingdom, Zohari is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He holds various memberships such as Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia; Fellow of the Permanent Way Institution (UK) and Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics & Transport (M).
Amiruddin Maaris is the Chief Executive Officer of Prasarana Integrated Management & Engineering Services Sdn Bhd. He is also the Group Director of Infrastructural Development.
Prior to his appointment he was the General Manager for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Project, Project Development Division since March 2011.
Amiruddin has a vast experience and knowledge in the realm of project development, operations & maintenance from various public transportation industries.
He started his career with General Electric Company (M) Sdn Bhd as Sales & Project Engineer from 1994 until 1996 before joining the Express Rail Link (ERL) project between 1996 and July 2005 as Project Manager Project to the Project Development Division. In this Division, he was also the Senior Engineer, System Integration & Operations Management Division and Head of Department, Rolling Stock Maintenance Division in ERL. Between August 2005 and May 2010, he was a General Manager of Special Projects Division/Bus Engineering SBU with RapidKL. Prior to joining Prasarana, he was attached to Commission of Public Land Transport (SPAD) as the Head of Special Projects & Technology Division.
He holds a MSc. Air Transport Management from Cranfield University Bedford, United Kingdom and a B. Eng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University London, United Kingdom.
Rudyanto Azhar is the Chief Executive Officer of Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd. He is also the Group Director for Property and Commercial.
He joined Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad on October 2010 as the Special Officer to the Group Managing Director. He played an instrumental role in developing Prasarana’s long-term strategic plan known as the Go Forward Plan (GFP). In addition to this, Rudyanto also made significant contributions to the formation of GFP 2.0 – the five-year long-term plan -- and Prasarana’s Corporate Restructuring Exercise. He is also part of the core team in forming RapidKuantan – Prasarana’s new public bus services in Pahang.
Prior to joining the Prasarana’s family, Rudyanto was a senior manager at the Commission of Land Public Transport (SPAD) where he was entrusted to lead the commission’s management services functions in information technology, finance and facilities while also assisting on the human resources management activities.
A UK graduate in accounting, Rudyanto has accumulated vast experiences in business development and human capital management. He has served as a Senior Consultant at Formates Sdn Bhd and Thomas International, Deloitte. He has also served in Maybank Berhad as an Assistant Manager for the Human Resource Division in 1995.
Zulkifli Mohamed Yusoff, is the Group Director of Project Development Division, effective 1 January 2011.
He has a vast experience in construction of infrastructure, expressways, dams and utilities-water supply. He has served in various capacities during the period which include Group Director, Chief Technical Officer, Project Director, General Manager Projects and Corporate Services, Consultant, Employer’s Representative, Client-owner and Operator.
A professional civil engineer by training, Zulkifli started his career with one of the leading engineering consultants SMHB in 1983, involving mainly in design and construction supervision of dams and water supply projects. He joined Renong Group of Companies in 1991 where he was one of the pioneer team members which initiated the PUTRA-LRT project. After the project was fully completed in 2000, he became the General Manager Corporate Services responsible for various aspects of the operating company such as business development, corporate communications and technical services. In 2005 he was appointed Chief Technical Officer of Prasarana, a post he held for nearly 5 years, after which he assumed his current position as Group Director.
Masnizam Hisham, is the Group Director, Infrastructure Services of Prasarana. Under her stable are the Department of Procurement, Warehouse & Supply Chain, Department of Facilities Maintenance & Administration, Department of Information Technology, Department of Communications & Marketing and also Department of Safety & Security.
She started her career with RapidKL in 2005, serving as the Head of Legal cum Company Secretary, where she was in charge of all issues relating to legal and company secretarial matters.
She was then promoted in 2008 as General Manager, Procurement, Warehouse and Supply Chain Department at RapidKL. She managed 18,000 stock keeping units with a value of more than RM100 million and annual purchase value of more than RM200 million for the operation of the LRT, Monorail and buses for RapidKL. In 2011, she was promoted to the group level where she headed the Prasarana Group Procurement, Warehouse and Supply Chain Department, in charge of all policies and procurement of capex and opex matters for the whole group with an annual value of more than RM1 billion.
In 2012, she was transferred to Group Communications and Marketing Division, reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, in charge of all external & internal communications and also managing project communication for the LRT Line Extension Project for the Kelana Jaya and Ampang Line. She was also tasked to manage the Marketing Department for the group with the responsibility to promote the use of MyRapid Card and also to increase ridership of the LRT, monorail and buses for the group.
Prior to that Masnizam had also served as a legal eagle with Messrs. Shearn Delamore & Co., from 1997 to 2003, where she specialised in corporate, financial services and conveyancing matters, which include drafting of conventional and Islamic bonds. She then joined Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Berhad as the Head of Legal cum Company Secretary. There were more than 40 companies under her purview, one of which was SPK-Sentosa Corporation Berhad, a company listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
Mohd Zahir Zahur Hussain is the Group Director of Finance effective 3 January 2012.
Prior to joining Prasarana, Zahir was the Head of Fund Operations at CIMB-Principal Asset Management (CPAM) where he was responsible for the operations of several units in the Fund Operations Department such as Settlement Unit, Institutional Reporting Unit and Fund Accounting Unit. CPAM is the second largest asset management company in Malaysia, managing assets approximately RM30 billion.
Zahir started his professional career attached to international accounting firms locally and abroad for over 10 years, namely, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia, PwC Cayman Islands and Deloitte & Touche LLP United Kingdom.
Upon his return from the UK, he held positions as a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman in several public listed companies on Bursa Malaysia. He had also been a Chief Financial Officer to a public listed company and had served as an Audit Director in another international accounting firm prior to joining CPAM in 2010.
Zahir holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and is a member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA). Zahir is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM).
Mohd Aiyob Abd Bahar was appointed as the Group Director of Human Capital effective 1 December 2011.
Prior to this appointment, he was the Director, Human Capital Management and Development at Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd, a leisure and tourism company under Khazanah Group.
Mohd Aiyob began his career in 1985 as an Accountant in the Accounts and Administration Department of Food Specialities (M) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Nestle Malaysia Bhd before joining Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Bhd (TV3) as an Assistant Accountant in April 1987.
In October 1993, he was appointed as Head, Human Resources and Administration Division of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) before he was transferred back to TV3 in August 1999 as General Manager, Corporate Services to manage and oversee the Human Resource, Training and Development and Management Services functions of the Company and Group.
In 2003, he joined Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd to head its Human Resource Department and in September 2006, he joined MISC Berhad as the General Manager, Human Resource Management. He was the main driver of the Senior Leadership Development Program, the Young Leadership Development Program and the initiatives established for the mindset change for the MISC Berhad Group. He left MISC Berhad in December 2008 and took up the appointment of General Manager, Human Capital Management at Pantai Group. In July 2011, he joined the Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd.
Mohd Aiyob received his early higher education at the Penang Free School and pursued his studies in Accountancy at Newcastle-Upon Tyne Polytechnic, United Kingdom. He holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management and a MBA from Victoria University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia.
Ahmad Sazali Ismail is the Group Director of Corporate Risk and Assurance Services Department effective 13 January 2012.
Before joining Prasarana, Sazali last served as Senior Vice President for Internal Audit at Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) where he was responsible for setting up and implementing the Internal Audit function, control framework and governance structure within IIB and its group of companies. He was also responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management of IIB’s risk exposure – strategic, policy, organizational and market risk and creating a culture of awareness to risk within IIB.
Sazali began his career in 1990 as an Inventory Auditor in Motorola Semiconductor Sdn. Bhd. Later he moved into banking industry as Senior Information Systems Auditor at Bank Bumiputera Malaysia Berhad for five years. He was promoted as an Assistant Manager, Strategic Business Development & MIS at the same bank. In 1996, he joined Rashid Hussain Securities Sdn. Bhd. as a Senior IT Auditor before he joined Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad as a Senior Manager, Internal Audit & Compliance for seven years.
In 2005, he joined Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn. Bhd. as Head of Internal Audit and Risk Monitoring to manage and develop a comprehensive audit plan under the direction of Audit Committee of the Board before joining IIB.
Sazali received his early education at Sultan Abdul Hamid College, Alor Setar, Kedah and pursued his studies in Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Syracuse University, New York, USA.
He is a member of Chartered Professional Member of Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (CMIIA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Abdul Razak Deraof is the Chief Integrity Officer (CIO) of Prasarana. He was seconded from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) effective 1 April 2012.
Prior to joining Prasarana, he was the Assistant Commissioner of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Abdul Razak started his professional career with the Commission where he had several stints at MACC Selangor, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA), MACC Sabah, and MACC Headquarters Putrajaya. Prior to that, he was seconded as the Deputy Chief Integrity Officer (DCIO) of Amanah Raya Berhad from April 2011 until March 2012.
He holds a Master Science of Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Bachelor Degree of Human Resources from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Mohd Rafi Osman heads the General Counsel and Secretarial Department of Prasarana Group of Companies from January 2011.
He joined Rangkaian Pengangkutan Integrasi Deras Sdn. Bhd. (RapidKL) in February 2006. When RapidKL merged with Prasarana, he was then transferred to Prasarana headquarters before he left to join the Commission of Land Public Transport (SPAD) from September 2009 until the end of 2010.
The Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia law degree holder started his career with the Renong Group when he joined EPE Power Corporation Berhad in 1997. By mid-1999, he joined legal practice under the sole proprietorship of Messrs Norazah & Associates. Between 2001 and 2006, Rafi was attached with corporate legal firm, Messrs W. Y. Chan & Roy.
