Dato’ Seri Haji Mustafar Haji Ali was appointed as Chairman of Rapid Bus Sdn. Bhd in March 2025. He also serves as Board Member of Prasarana Integrated Development Sdn Bhd(PRIDE).
Dato’ Seri Haji Mustafar Haji Ali holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 1984 and Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Criminal Justice, from University of New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America in 1995.
He joined Malaysian Public Service in 1985 as Senior Investigation Officer, Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) now known as Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). Holds several positions in MACC, including Senior Investigation Officer Federal Territory, Head of ACA Taiping Branch, Perak, prosecutor in the Prosecution Division, Director of Research and Planning, Director of Investigation and was appointed as Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) of MACC.
Dato’ Seri Mustafar was also seconded as Deputy President of Malaysian Institute of Integrity, where he is very much involved in the formulation of National Integrity Plan and pioneering the establishment of Malaysian Institute of Integrity. He was also appointed as Director General, Malaysian Immigration Department and Chief Executive and Director General of the National Anti-Financial Crime Centre (NFCC), where he pioneering the establishment of the NFCC and formulation of the National Financial Crime Centre Act 2019.
Dato’ Seri Mustafar has attended and presented papers at numerous international conferences, symposiums, seminars, workshops and study visits in various countries globally. He was appointed as Adjunct Professor of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws from International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Administrative Science and Policy Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA, and Member of Board of Studies (BOS) for the Academic Programme Diploma in Immigration Law (DIPIL), Harun M. Hashim Law Centre, Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyah of Laws, International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). He was also appointed as Academis Industrial Advisor for Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM) and Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) Previously, Dato’ Seri Mustafar also was appointed as Deputy Chairman Tourism Board, Board Member of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), Advisory Board of the Department of Islamic Development (ILIM) under the Department of Islamic Deve;opment Malaysia (JAKIM) and currently as Board of Trustee, Perdana International Anti-Corruption Foundation (PIACF)
