In November, Prasarana Integrated Development (PRIDE) brought together its valued tenants and partners for the Retail Tenant Appreciation Lunch 2025 at Al Sultan Restaurant, Bukit Bintang. The gathering was a heartfelt celebration of the relationships, trust, support, and collaboration that help keep Kuala Lumpur’s transit retail network vibrant and thriving.
Over 90 guests attended the event, including 60 tenant representatives, PRIDE’s CEO, Syed Redza Algadrie Syed Hassan, and key personnel from Rapid Rail’s Operations, Facilities Management (FMAD), Power Tech, Safety, and Security teams. The luncheon offered a warm and meaningful space for tenants and internal teams to connect, share stories, and celebrate shared successes.
In his welcome remarks, Syed Redza thanked tenants for their commitment over the years and highlighted how every brand – big or small – plays a vital role in shaping a dynamic retail ecosystem across the rail network. He also expressed gratitude to internal stakeholders whose contributions enable PRIDE to continuously grow and support its partners.
A key highlight of the afternoon was the Retail Appreciation Awards, recognising tenants for their long-standing service and expansion within the transit retail community. Awards were presented in four categories: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, based on years of partnership and outlet growth. Award recipients were:
- Platinum Award (16+ years / 25+ outlets): MyNews Retail Sdn Bhd, celebrating 12 years of partnership with 29 outlets across the network.
- Gold Awards (11–15 years / 15–24 outlets): Atlas Vending (M) Sdn Bhd and QL Maxincome Sdn Bhd (FamilyMart)
- Silver Awards (6–10 years / 6–14 outlets) : 7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank), and AAJ Delights
- Bronze Awards (<5 years / 2–5 outlets): Pos Malaysia Berhad, Merchant Nine Sdn Bhd, Rotiboy Bakeshoppe Sdn Bhd (Rotiboy), Loob Integrated Sdn Bhd (Tealive), and Big Apple Alliance Sdn Bhd (Al Sultan), and other long-standing partners.
The luncheon concluded with laughter, camaraderie, and renewed commitment to grow together. PRIDE remains dedicated to strengthening its partnerships and fostering a thriving transit retail community that connects people, opportunities, and shared success across the rail network.
