Dr. Ahmad Marzuki Ariffin is the Chief Executive Officer of RTS Operations Pte. Ltd. (RTSO), the appointed concessionaire for the Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link. He assumed the role in January 2023 and brings with him over 25 years of multidisciplinary experience across the public transportation, rail, oil and gas, telecommunications, and engineering sectors.

Prior to joining RTSO, Dr. Marzuki held the position of Customer Director and Site Managing Director at ALSTOM Malaysia (formerly Bombardier Malaysia), where he played a pivotal role in the execution of high-value transport infrastructure projects. His portfolio included the KLIA APM System Upgrade, the deployment of on-board ATP systems, and the delivery of additional light rail vehicles for Prasarana. He also served in leadership and project management capacities at Bombardier, Halcrow, and Scomi Engineering, contributing to major undertakings such as the Kelana Jaya Line Refurbishment, Ampang Line Extension, and Mumbai Monorail.

Dr. Marzuki holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the International Islamic University Malaysia, an MBA in Strategic Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is a registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and continues to actively support educational and community-based initiatives.
