Datuk Mohd Zarif Mohd Hashim was appointed to the Board on 23 September 2020. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), where he plays a pivotal role in the development of various metro rail infrastructure projects and transit-oriented properties across the country. Under his leadership, MRT Corp has spearheaded significant initiatives, including the Putrajaya Line, RTS Link, Penang Mutiara Line, MRT3 Circle Line, and the Bukit Chagar Regeneration project.

Before joining MRT Corp in 2020, Datuk Zarif served as the Group Chief Operating Officer at Sapura Group. He also held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Sapura Group’s Technology and Rail Business Clusters.

Datuk Zarif holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in the USA and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
