Tan Sri Mohd Nasir Ahmad is the Chairman of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, effective 1 August 2025.

He brings over four decades of leadership experience in accounting, finance, and corporate governance across both public and private sectors. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom, and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Tan Sri Mohd Nasir began his career in 1979 with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and has since held various senior positions. He has served as the CEO of Malaysia Transformer Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, SPK Berhad, and Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB), where he drove initiatives in entrepreneurship development and SME growth. He was also Chairman of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (2018-2025).

He has held various leadership and advisory roles in key national and international bodies, reflecting his strong reputation in the fields of finance and governance. His professional contributions have been recognised through appointments such as Chairman of the Association of Development Finance Institutions of Malaysia (2008–2011), President of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (2011–2013), and Global Council Member of ACCA (2013–2022). He is also currently Chairman of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board since 2021.
