Prasarana’s ‘Learning & Culture’ (L&C) unit (formally PACE) is the best choice for individuals keen on professional career training and advancement in the public transport service industry.
With a vision to be the preferred Public Transportation Academy in Malaysia, our focus is to provide a structured curriculum and educational environment that enhances learning and personal enrichment of all scholars.
Our methods are both unique and traditional, employing new techniques to learning, while providing a curriculum designed to meet career goals and industry needs. PACE operates as the centralised training arm of Prasarana and is an amalgamation of 2 academies:
- Prasarana International Training Academy of Rail (PINTAR)
- Prasarana Bus Academy (PBA)
About PINTAR
Prasarana International Training Academy of Rail (PINTAR) manages the technology transfer of knowledge and skills from the System Contractors to the Operations and Maintenance personnel.
It is entrusted to manage all systems and subsystems trainings for the major rail alignments that run through Klang Valley, operating the LRT Kelana Jaya Line, LRT Ampang Line, KL Monorail Line and Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Kajang Line & Putrajaya Line.
About PBA
Prasarana Bus Academy (PBA), initially established as a training department of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, has expanded its operations and functions to be a skills development centre for the overall Rapid Bus personnel.
Over the years, the Academy has progressed into developing in-house training modules, content, and training facilities. This has allowed to gain PBA formal recognition as an accredited centre by Malaysia Department of Skills Development (DSD). PBA has also been accredited by Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) as a certified training provider.
